Larisa Warhol is a student in the Master of International Policy and Practice program at the Elliott School of International Affairs. She has a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Arizona State University. Her research and work encompasses language education policy; Indigenous education policy; international and comparative education; language and gender; and urban education policy contexts. Her current projects include developing local language education policies in Barbados; program development and design with Auckland University of Technology and a research study that explores the impacts of international development and education on Maasai youth in Kenya. She has been published in the International Journal on Bilingual Education and Bilingualism, Language Policy and the Bilingual Research Journal.
