Pikria Saliashvili is currently pursuing a M.A. in International Affairs at the Elliott School of International Affairs. She has an extensive multidisciplinary background, ranging from winning piano competitions to conducting research on the security issues in the Middle East. She analyzed the dynamics between sovereignty, security, and intervention, with case studies of Libya and Syria. She has written about diverse topics, such as economic challenges facing Brazil and the role of religion in India. She speaks French, Georgian, and English, and is currently working on improving Russian. She is planning to pursue a career with a focus on international security studies and Eurasia.
